Hi Uihua,

How are you today? It’s a lovely sunny day out there, are you stuck in the office? Perhaps it’s time for a cigarette. No, wait, finish this first. Or maybe, you could have one then come back and finish it. Or, you could have one now, come back, finish this then go and have another to celebrate another task well done! I know, I know, I’m full of great ideas. I know, I know, I’ve been told I’m quite brilliant.

Ah! Welcome back from your cigarette! Only five short minutes to get this done then you can go and savor another puff. You’re doing an excellent job as an editor. Go, you! Your dedication to your job and your cigarettes has inspired me to write a poem:

Uihua, Uihua, what a delight you are,

have you counted your achievements so far?

Or do you think they’re all quite blah?

I must say, you are quite a star

Writing, editing, dinners with your grandma

You’ve come far, from traveling in your car

Take a moment, as if smoking alone in a bar

and come to epiphany, what a delight you are.

Go, Uihua!
